Imposter and fraud caution

We have become aware that third parties may impersonate YMC Capital Limited or members of our team by email, messaging apps, or cloned websites. This page exists so that anyone contacted by a party claiming to represent YMC Capital can verify the channel.

Authentic channels

  • · Our only websites are ymc.capital and ymc.partners.
  • · Our only email addresses end in @ymc.capital or @ymc.partners.
  • · We do not send unsolicited investment offers, capital calls, or wire instructions through messaging apps (WhatsApp, Telegram, WeChat, etc.).
  • · We do not use group chats to distribute confidential documents.
  • · All confidential materials are shared through our investor portal at ymc.capital/portal after a verified assessment process.

Red flags

  • · An email from any domain other than @ymc.capital or @ymc.partners.
  • · A request to wire funds without a signed subscription agreement and a confirmed assessment.
  • · Guaranteed returns, fixed performance quotes, or "exclusive" access pitches.
  • · Pressure to act within hours or a specific deadline.
  • · A contact who is unwilling to schedule a live video call or who refuses direct-dial verification.

If you have been contacted

If you have been approached by someone claiming to represent YMC Capital and you are unsure whether the contact is genuine, do not wire funds, do not share bank details, and do not forward documents. Write to us directly via our contact page with the details you have received and we will verify.

If you have already sent funds to a party that may be impersonating us, contact your bank immediately and consider filing a report with your local financial regulator.

This notice is provided as a courtesy. YMC Capital Limited accepts no liability for losses arising from engagement with third parties who are not authorised to act on our behalf. For the avoidance of doubt: no member of the YMC Capital team will ever ask you to transmit funds by means other than an executed subscription agreement through our named administrator, Nav Consulting.
