Marshall Islands companies
Can a BVI company move to the Marshall Islands?
Yes. Section 184 of the BVI Business Companies Act lets a company in good standing continue under another jurisdiction’s law, and it keeps its name and its original date of incorporation.
Nothing is wound up and no assets move. Only the company’s BVI registered agent can make the BVI filings, so we instruct them and run the timetable.
The steps are a resolution, the notices, the notice of intention to continue at least 14 days later, the Articles of Domestication in the Marshall Islands, and the notice of continuation in the BVI.
